2020年5月10日，威马发布了适合Z时代的新车ES5-Z，同时概念车Marven发布，2021年计划量产。
圈内不免哗然于Freeman怎么弄了2个脱口秀演员来主持一个新车发布会，满嘴的荷尔蒙和后街头气息，了解威马车精神内核的人或许发现，这次只是更加彻底的拥抱后浪的一个秀，深埋于此的是威马一直想做的属于后浪的新能源车。
对于理想主义者，现实并不是没有为他们留下路。我在威马期间，有幸参与到了第一代车的HMI和出行APP的全程设计。在最早我们确定了这辆车的真正主人，也就是今天提出的Z世代，我们不仅要求他亮眼并抓住年轻人的眼球而且符还要合后浪阳光而又矜持的味道，不仅是好用还要求借助AI技术让它丰富到千人千面。
我们需要的，只是暂时退避开那些锋芒毕露的竞争对手，转进，转进，再转进，决胜于下一代。

At the earliest time, we determined the real owner of this car, that is, generation Z proposed today. We not only asked him to shine and catch the eyes of young people, but also meet the taste of sunshine and reserve in the back wave. It is not only easy to use, but also requires the help of AI technology to enrich it to thousands of people.
What we need is just to stay away from those sharp competitors for the time being, and turn in, turn in, and then move forward, and win in the next generation.

威马是较早引入智能车设计概念的车厂，早期并没有相关的竞品，前期，我们做了大量的设计调研工作，从用户习惯到眼动仪测试，从第一版早期设计到中期的设计风格逐渐成熟，经历过几版交互和视觉提案。

In the early stage, we did a lot of design research work, from user habits to eye tracker testing, from the early design of the first edition to the middle stage of the design style, and experienced several versions of interaction and visual proposals.

整体交互风格我们进行了从0-1从1-2的探索，早期的设计风格偏向燃油车，其实威马作为创新型的智能车厂，我们的期待是更具个性化的交互与视觉。

同时许多app将不再全屏展示，而是只在一定范围内展示最重要的内容。
